Use Masterki with AI apps
Last updated: September 25, 2026
Masterki can take flashcards from Claude, Gemini, and Grok and hold them until you review them in the app. Nothing is added to a deck until you accept it. The AI app cannot read your existing decks or your conversation. It only sends the cards you ask it to save.
Before you connect
- Install Masterki and sign in.
- Open Settings → Connect Masterki to AI apps.
- Copy the server URL:
https://masterki.org/mcp. - Tap Get a pairing code when the sign-in page asks for one. The code lasts 10 minutes. You can also sign in with your Masterki email and password.
Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Name it Masterki, paste the server URL, then connect and sign in with a pairing code.
In Claude Code or Cowork, install the Masterki plugin when it is listed, or add the same server URL as a custom connector. The first time Claude saves cards, it opens the Masterki sign-in page.
Then ask: "Make flashcards from this and save them to Masterki."
Gemini
Custom apps in Gemini need a personal Google Account, age 18 or older, in the US, with Activity turned on. On a computer, open gemini.google.com, then Settings → Connected Apps → Add a custom app. Paste the server URL and leave the advanced credential fields empty. Sign in with a pairing code.
Grok
Open grok.com/connectors, choose New Connector → Custom, paste the server URL, and sign in with a pairing code.
ChatGPT
Masterki is not in ChatGPT's directory yet. The app shows ChatGPT as coming soon until that listing is approved.
After the cards are saved
Open Masterki. The cards wait on Home until you review them and add them to a deck. They are labelled with the AI app that sent them. Cards stay on Masterki's servers only until the app saves them, and at most 500 wait at once.
Disconnect
In the app, open Settings → Connect Masterki to AI apps and disconnect the app. You can also remove the connector inside Claude, Gemini, or Grok. Disconnecting revokes that app's access.
